Who We Are

Beca and Rich owners of CBD oil of dayton
Beca and Rich

Rebecca (a physical therapist) and her husband Richard (a physician, and certified to recommend medical marijuana in Ohio), both being in healthcare here in Dayton, OH, realized the potential benefits of cannabis, and were especially interested in CBD because it is not intoxicating (does not get you “high”). With people regularly asking them about CBD oil, they realized an opportunity to be able to help more people through education about CBD, as well as by providing high quality CBD products at an affordable price. They partnered with CBD Hemp Oil (TM) in Kentucky and CBD Oil of Dayton was born. They opened their doors in January of 2020!

CBD Oil of Dayton is a team of dedicated individuals focused on CBD education, and helping people improve their quality of life using CBD oil. We are committed to your health and wellness! We only sell CBD products. It’s our passion and focus! Reach out to us with any and all questions, or stop by our store!

About Hemp

Hemp (cannabis sativa) is an industrial crop that is known to have over 25,000 known uses!

Hemp is very high in the cannabinoid CBD (cannabidiol) and low in THC, which means you won’t get high using a CBD product!

Hemp and Marijuana are both part of the Cannabis family, but they differ in cultivation and chemical makeup. While both plants have value, the low THC content of Hemp make it a popular choice for those who don’t want the “high” of Marijuana.

WHAT IS FULL SPECTRUM?

CBD has grown in popularity over the past couple of years, but believe it or not, CBD is only one of the hundreds of compounds identified in the Cannabis Sativa L plant. Full Spectrum CBD oil, unlike Isolate CBD Oil, contains CBD as well as several other cannabinoids (compounds found in Cannabis).

Using a Full Spectrum CBD Oil over an Isolate CBD Oil can be beneficial. When using a Full Spectrum product, CBD is put in a more natural state by being surrounded by trace amounts of other cannabinoids. When CBD is with the other cannabinoids you get what is called the “entourage effect”. As mentioned, there are hundreds of compounds within Cannabis Sativa L. While most of them have their own benefits, the synergy between the compounds allows them to combine for greater effect. A 2015 study conducted by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s Hadassah School compared Full Spectrum CBD Oil and Isolate CBD Oil, and found that the Full Spectrum Oil was more effective.

For a Full Spectrum product to be federally legal, it must come from Industrial Hemp and contain below 0.3% THC (the psychoactive cannabinoid).
